Producer, Creative & Performing Artist
Janet Huey is a Producer, Creative and Performing Artist.
She has been working in the entertainment industry for over fifteen years. She began dancing at the age of 3 and choreographed her first dance show in her living room around the age of 10. She made her way to Los Angeles to attend AMDA and start nurturing her voice and explore her deeper love for Musical Theater. The world of Musical Theater brought her to NYC where she dove head first into the world of Circus and Burlesque.
As a Producer, she recently worked on “The Well” written by Miles Orduña, “Consider the Lilies” by Cristina Spina and Frank Pugliese, “Tuesdays with Brian” by Jacq Frances and “Love Abridged “By Corrine Kassor. She’s currently developing her first action film set for production Summer 2022.
She has thoroughly enjoyed Directing and Choreographing music videos such as “Makers Mark” by Copyslut, “Ain’t I Am Woman” by Pauline Jean, “Baby” by Sydaiya Rehema and had the pleasure of working on “Body Roll” by Ja’Shayla.
She is the Creative Director for Edgewalker Entertainment, a queer owned production company specializing in music recording, video production, live events, creative coaching & graphic design.
As a Creative, she recently Produced, Directed and Choreographed a live showcase, "EDGEWALKERS" at 3 Dollar Bill in Bushwick as a recipient of the City Artists Corps Grant.
She has performed all over NYC, LA, Vegas and Chicago. From musicals to music videos, she has always loved performing both on stage and behind the camera. She is a dancer, singer and actress specializing in fire, bellydance and burlesque.
Currently splitting her time between New York and Los Angeles.
