Growing up, I used to love instant oatmeal, especially Quaker Oats apple cinnamon. The older I get and the more allergies my body starts to have, I'd had to learn to adapt. From the gluten free oats world to the Whole30. Enjoy this super simple, quick oatmeal to get you going for the day. My least favorite part about looking at recipes is that you have to scroll forever to find the recipe. So here it is, recipes first, thoughts later. Enjoy!

1 pot wonder, keep it simple friends.
Pour milk into a small sauce pan, heat. Once simmering add dry ingredients: flaxseed, coconut flour, chia seeds, cinnamon, salt. Stir until it's completed mixed.
Dish it out. Add your toppings. Pictured above: Sunbutter, Banana and cinnamon. Enjoy hot with your favorite morning beverage.
Other topping ideas include: apple slices, berries, nuts, shredded coconut, dates.
If you're not on the whole30 I am a lover of honey or a hint of brown sugar.
Favorite Brands:
I love Sunbutter! In general, I have the sugar free or organic one, but I also just discovered the crunchy business if you're into that. Crunchy is not whole30 because it has some sugar, but it's a great time if you grew up with PB & J's with the crunchy stuff.
I love spices, so I'll do extra cinnamon and nutmeg on anything. I'll try to keep you in the loop but I'm a firm believer of adding in extra spice at any opportunity.
